Jason Smith, Chief Executive of festival organisers Marketing Gloucester, said: “We are delighted to bring this fantastic zip wire to Gloucester Docks for this year’s festival. What better way to see the stunning waterfront in all its glory than in the air on this 1,000 ft zip wire?”

“Judging by the success of the zip wire in the city centre last year, tickets are sure to go fast for this attraction, so we would advise people to book early to avoid disappointment.”

The zip wire is one of many fantastic activities taking place at the award-winning festival including awe-inspiring tall ships, Industry Pro wakeboarding championships and a superhero-style Gravity Jet Suit display.

Children and big kids alike will love the giant battle ships, have a go circus and BMX or they could try their hand at climbing and caving or take in a swashbuckling pirate show.

All this and plenty of live music will be taking place throughout the three days as well as many fantastic food and drink stalls on offer too.

Standard tickets for the festival are £10 for adults with accompanying children under-12 free with every ticket purchased.
