While there will be spectacles galore on the waterfront, there will also be plenty to see and do on dry land at the Gloucester Tall Ships and Adventure Festival.
Fusion Extreme will be bringing their take urban BMX displays to the festival which takes place between May 25 and 27.
It is one of a number of fantastic activities at this year’s event that has changed its name to reflect some of the more adrenalin-style elements including wakeboarding, superhero-style jet suit displays and a 1,000ft-long zip wire across Gloucester Docks.
There is also caving, climbing and a surfing simulator machine for adults and big kids alike to try their hand at. Plus, don’t miss the celebration of maritime heritage on the water with the magnificent tall ships and living history displays.
