This year’s Gloucester Tall Ships and Adventure Festival promises to be the biggest and best yet with more activities on than ever before.
We have released the timetable of all the displays and live performances to help visitors make the most of their trip to the festival at Gloucester Docks.
On Saturday May 25, we have more than 300 schoolchildren and local performers taking to different stages as part of the prestigious Water City Music Event.
Mariners Square will be transformed into an amazing performance space on the Sunday and Monday with acrobatic, circus and aerial skills on display from Simple Cypher, Roundhouse SCC, Artspace and Power by 2Faced Dance Company.
There will also be fabulous sea shanties and live music entertaining the crowds throughout the weekend with acts such as the Portsmouth Shanty Men and Exmouth Shanty Men on the Sunday and the Strays, Soul Stutters and the Swamp Song Stomp Band on the Monday.
Friends Ukenited and several community choirs will be taking to the steps of the Soldiers of Gloucestershire Museum to perform on the Sunday and there will be music performances by the National Waterways Museum all weekend featuring Clint Mann, Peter and Astrid, Mark Harmer and many more.
