About the event

Joining Tall Ships for the first time,  For this occasion, the accordion will accompany the bouzouki, the guitar, the banjo and the violin. Nordet will be made up of four crew members: Philippe Falquerho, Francis Arzul, Pierre Guillemot and Didier Allain, all of them used to finding their sea-legs on big stages as well as at parties and cabarets.

For 34 years Nordet have been performing traditional sea shanties and its own creations. The crew know how to make people dance or sing in a festive spirit or be moved by a lament. Nordet's energy, voices and instruments will sweep you away in a gale. These four sailors, exuberant and joyful, will embark and allow the public on board, from dead calm seas to storms, from the middle of oceans to the docks, and from Breton taverns to Gloucestershire pubs. Nordet is a warm north wind, a friendliness and an ability to mobilize the public. So welcome aboard, you sailors.
